Susann McDonald is recognized as one of the world’s leading harpists and pedagogues. She has served as the Artistic Director of the USA International Harp Competition and the Honorary President of the Association Internationale des Harpistes et Amis de la Harpe. Susann McDonald taught at the University of Arizona, the University of Southern California and at California State University at Los Angeles. She served as chairman of the Harp Department at the Julliard School for ten years. In 1981 she was appointed Chair of harp department in the world. In 1989 she was awarded the title of Distinguished Professor of Music at Indiana University. Her numerous recordings encompass much of the major harp literature. In addition she has composed and written many original publications for harp which have become part of the standard repertoire. She has taught master classes at leading conservatoires throughout the world including Paris, Copenhagen, Beijing, Brazil, Verona, Granada, Switzerland, Moscow, and numerous others. Miss McDonald has also served as a member of the jury of most international harp competitions. Her students are consistently among the top prize-winners in national and international Harp competitions. Many now hold prestigious positions with such orchestras as the Chicago Symphony, the New York Philharmonic, The Metropolitan Opera, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Orchestra Nationale de France, The Berlin Philharmonic, the Detroit Symphony, the Minneapolis Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony, Orquestra Nationale de Mexico, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Other former students have become major teachers and concert harpists around the world. Susann McDonald was a pupil of Henriette Renie and Lily Laskine at the famed Paris Conservatory where she was the first American artist to win the coveted Premier Prix. She has performed throughout the world and is a frequent guest artist on the Joy of Music television series. It has been said that she is truly raising a whole new generation of harpists who come to her to experience the inspiration that she exemplifies and the love of the harp which she shares so generously.

Elisa Torres Pérez is principal harpist with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra. She began her university studies under the tutelage of Susann McDonald, earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in harp performance. In 2003, she won the Buehler White Award at the National Society of Arts and Letters competition. She has performed as a soloist with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra and given recitals internationally in Brazil and Mexico. In addition to her work as a harpist and arranger, Elisa also serves as Professor of Harp in the Bachelor's program at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, Vice President of the Puerto Rico Chapter of the American Harp Society, a member of the National Board of Directors of the American Harp Society, Co-President of the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Committee, a member of the organizing committee for the Young Composers Project, and in her independent work as founder and director of the Glissando for Harp Ensembles program. She worked on a project sponsored by the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music to publish harp arrangements with a didactic focus: My Little Harp and My Christmas Harp. In 2010, she released an album titled Natural, sponsored by Humberto Ramírez. Her independent recording: “Imágenes” was selected by the National Foundation for Popular Culture as one of the 20 best local albums of 2018. Her most recent album, titled De Camino, is now available.

Mexican harpist Ángel Padilla began his studies with private lessons with Marisa Robles at Indiana University, which he coordinated with the Royal College of Music in London. He participated in the Third World Harp Competition in Vienna and won the Sir Malcolm Sargent Prize in 1988. The following year, he received a scholarship from the Spanish government to attend the 31st International Course on Spanish Music, taught by the renowned harpist Nicanor Zabaleta (1907-1993). At this competition, he won the Andrés Segovia and José Miguel Ruiz Morales awards for best harpist, an award also received from the Royal College of Music for two consecutive years. He toured Great Britain, Spain, and Mexico, and in the United States, performed in New York, Chicago, and Hartford. He was a soloist with Mexico's most important symphony orchestras. In 1989, he was invited to give a special recital before Queen Elizabeth II of England. He was a harp teacher at St. Paul's Cathedral Choir School in London and a professor at Mexico's National Conservatory of Music. Zabaleta said of him: "Here is a harpist of immense talent, who trills like no other harpist in the world... he's a great instrumentalist." Upon his death in 1993, the Spanish harpist bequeathed his harp to Ángel Padilla.

Albarosa Di Lieto graduated in harp from the "A. Corelli" Conservatory of Music in Messina, with top marks and honors. She continued her studies with Susanna Mildonian. She is a member of several ensembles, including the Harp and Piano Duo, the Italian Harp Duo, the Lieto Ensemble, and the Violin, Cello, and Harp Trio. She has given numerous public performances and received excellent reviews for her original compositions and the eclectic nature of her repertoire. She has performed both in Italy and abroad. She has also appeared with the Rome Opera Orchestra, both in Italy and abroad, during several opera seasons. Her excellent musical qualities have been recognized by the numerous conductors with whom she has performed. An important part of Maestra Albarosa Di Lieto's work is teaching: she acts as an external examiner for ministerial examinations at several Italian conservatories. She has received numerous honorary awards for numerous students' victories in national and international competitions. She has served on the juries of national and international competitions. In 2012, she was invited to Mexico City to serve on the jury of the 3rd National and International Harp Competition Mexico 2012 as the European representative. She is a professor of harp at the "Stanislao Giacomantonio" Conservatory of Music in Cosenza and has served on the Institute's internal Academic Council. Along with Maestro Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche, she co-founded the M. Tournier International Harp Competition, now in its twelfth edition. She founded the Italian Harp Orchestra (the only one in the world), making its debut on October 27, 2010, at the 2nd "M. Tournier" International Harp Competition. She has promoted numerous advanced courses and given master classes in Italy, Spain, Russia, Poland, Greece, and Mexico. Albarosa Di Lieto was president of the Association of Italian Harp Orchestras from 2010 to 2022.

Born in Germany in 1973, Christian Topp began his harp studies at the age of 9 in Basel, Switzerland. He continued his training at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik München under the tutelage of Professor Helga Storck, where he won the Jugend musiziert competition in 1993. His participation in the World Harp Congress in Copenhagen marked a milestone in his early career. From 1993 to 1998, he continued his studies in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Professor David Watkins, earning a Bachelor of Music and a Concert-Recital degree. During this time, he made several recordings for BBC Radio 2 and Radio 3, highlighting himself in the British musical scene. In 2000, he participated in the Bayerischer Rundfunk Orchesterakademie under the direction of Mstislav Rostropovich. Between 2001 and 2005, she was principal harpist with the Orchester des Pfalztheaters Kaiserslautern and the Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie/Theater Görlitz. Together with Professor Henner Eppel, she recorded the album "Elfenreigen - Fairy Round Dance," featuring Romantic music for flute and harp, available through Guildmusic. Her solo repertoire includes concertos by Bach, Boieldieu, Debussy, Glière, Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi, and Wagenseil. She has also written three cadenzas for the Mozart concerto. Topp regularly participates in chamber music, with notable appearances at festivals in Morelia, Valle de Bravo, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and Puebla. Since 2005, she has been principal harpist with the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra (OSEM). Since August 2017, he has been a harp professor at the School of Fine Arts at the Universidad Panamericana.

Aguilar Solano is originally from Tultepec, State of Mexico. He studied at the National Conservatory of Music, the Alfred Cortot Normal School of Paris, and the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, with Luz María Puente, Jorge Federico Osorio, Germaine Mounier, Aquiles Delle-Vigne, and Naoya Seino. He has participated in the 5th Albert Roussel International Piano Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the 2nd Angélica Morales-Yamaha National Piano Competition, and won first place in the Soloists Competition of the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, the pianist from the State of Mexico has performed in France, Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, the United States, and Spain. He is currently a professor at the National Conservatory of Music and belongs to the Concertistas de Bellas Artes group.
